I knew it…

…just when my hope grew, to be able to adopt a dog, this all got smashed, today.

Sure…two cats AND a dog would obviously be way too much! And think about the oh-so-expensive wood floor!

I’d really like to know, what they’d have said if I’d told them, I was pregnant. Two cats AND a baby is way too much???

No, of course not! Because a fucking all-night-screaming-baby is okay, but a good educated, adult dog is a no-go!

What a fucking shithole we live in…


First step is done!

Okay, so today I asked the other tenants in the house, they are totally okay with us adopting a dog!

Let’s see where this may lead us….

DOG SURVIVES OKLAHOMA TORNADO; OKLAHOMA ANIMAL WELFARE ACCEPTING DISPLACED ANIMALS

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office issued this picture of a dog that was discovered in the rubble after today’s tornado in Oklahoma. Let’s hope the dog’s owners are safe too. 

Oklahoma City Animal Welfare is accepting dogs and other pets that have been displaced by the disaster. They are also distributing free dog food for those in need (they will be coordinating with the Moore Animal Welfare & Adoption Center).  Their contact info is as follows:

If you would like to help, you can drop off food and other supplies directly at the above address, or send in a donation to help the displaced animals here via the Animal Welfare Donation Station website.
